Meissa OT: Set of New Extensions by EGZOTech

Everyday Tasks. New Possibilities for Therapy. Bring the context of daily living directly into upper limb therapy. EGZOTech has introduced a comprehensive new extension set for the Meissa OT, specifically designed to help patients practice functional movements like holding a mug, moving the wrist, and rotating the forearm. Three New Extensions for Everyday Tasks. Each tool in the accessory set is engineered to simulate a specific activity of daily living (ADL):. Mug Extension: Trains a cylindrical grip. Patients practice grasping a vertical handle, lifting it, and putting it down with control., Mouse Extension: Designed to mimic a familiar computer mouse position. It targets wrist flexion and extension, hand positioning, and fine motor skills., Stick Extension: A versatile horizontal handle for pinch, hammer, and hook grip exercises, as well as forearm rotation tasks. Complete Therapy Integration. The extensions are fully supported by the Meissa OT software ecosystem, integrating movement with therapeutic signals:. 9 New FES Protocols: Dedicated to ADL training. The software supports CPM + EMS and CPM + EMG + EMS modes to assist functional movements., 2 New Therapy Games: Cafeteria (a virtual café combining motor tasks like pouring and wiping with cognitive challenges) and Road Toad (a dynamic obstacle game). Both can be controlled via EMG muscle signals., Grip Assistance Glove: An included glove helps stabilize and secure the patient's hand on the extensions, ideal for those with reduced muscle strength., Accessory Organizer: A custom stand with dedicated compartments keeps your clinical space tidy. Note: This is an accessory set for the Meissa OT device; the robotic device itself is sold separately.
