Tecar Therapy + Manual Therapy Integration: Doctor Tecar & Lojer

The integration of Tecar Therapy (Diathermy) with advanced Manual Therapy creates a highly compliant biomechanical environment for physical rehabilitation. By combining deep, targeted endothermic heat with precise physical mobilization, clinicians can overcome muscular guarding, increase tissue extensibility, and achieve greater ranges of motion with significantly less patient discomfort. The Clinical Synergy: Thermal Tissue Prep & 3D Mobilization Manual therapy relies on the pliability of the patient's soft tissues and joints. Integrating Mecmedix and Lojer technologies allows the practitioner to seamlessly blend biological preparation with structural correction. The Biological Prep: Mecmedix Doctor Tecar. The Doctor Tecar system operates using radiofrequency to generate deep, localized heat within the body. Capacitive & Resistive Modes: The Capacitive mode specifically targets superficial soft tissues (muscles, vascular/lymphatic systems) to rapidly reduce spasms and muscle guarding. The Resistive mode penetrates deeper, targeting dense, high-impedance tissues like tendons, ligaments, and bone to improve joint lubrication and elasticity., Increased Collagen Extensibility: The deep thermal effect physically alters the viscoelastic properties of collagen, making fascial layers and joint capsules highly pliable and ready for mechanical stretching., Analgesic Washout: Massive vasodilation flushes out pain-causing metabolites, drastically reducing the patient's sensitivity to touch before manipulation begins. The Structural Correction: Lojer Manual Therapy (Manuthera 242) Once the tissue is thermally primed, the clinician utilizes the world-class ergonomics and mobilization capabilities of Lojer treatment tables, such as the flagship Manuthera 242. 3D Articulation: The Lojer Manuthera allows for multi-dimensional movements (flexion, extension, lateral flexion, and 3D rotation), allowing the therapist to manipulate the warmed, relaxed joints through their newly expanded range of motion., Traction & Decompression: With the surrounding musculature relaxed by the Doctor Tecar, spinal traction and decompression can be applied more effectively, as the body's natural reflex to "guard" against the pull has been bypassed. The Integrated Workflow: Tecar therapy is uniquely suited for active integration. Because the practitioner can use the Doctor Tecar handpieces as a massage tool, they can actively perform myofascial release and joint mobilizations on the Lojer table while simultaneously delivering the diathermy current. Key Clinical Applications:. Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis): Melting the fibrotic joint capsule with Resistive Tecar while actively stretching the glenohumeral joint on the table., Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Deep thermal trigger point release combined with manual soft-tissue mobilization., Spinal Stiffness & Low Back Pain: Relaxing the erector spinae muscles with Capacitive Tecar prior to performing 3D spinal articulation and drops on the Lojer Manuthera.
