Introducing HD-Explore Version 8.2. We’re pleased to announce a new HD-Explore software update featuring IFS/TI modeling using individual MRI data, along with enhanced current-flow visualization and workflow tools. The update will be demonstrated at the NYC Neuromodulation Conference and is available at no cost to existing HD-Explore users. IFS/TI Modeling Now Supported for Individual MRIs. Interferential Stimulation (IFS) and Temporal Interference (TI) modeling are particularly sensitive to individual anatomy and electrode placement, making subject-specific current-flow modeling especially valuable. HD-Explore 8.2 now supports both IFS/TI and tES modeling using individual MRI data imported through ROAST 4.0. Not familiar with MATLAB? Assistance with ROAST import is included in our complimentary training package with purchase. Alternatively, users can submit their MRI directly through the application and have it processed using our Modeling Service for a fee. Enhanced Visualization of Electrodes in 3D View. Upgraded 3D brain models with color-coded current-flow distributions make visualizing setups easier than ever:. For HD-tES: Color-coded Anodes and Cathodes (marked by red and cyan discs)., For IFS/TI: Frequency pairs are differentiated by shape (cone- and disc-shaped electrode markers). Expanded Montage Design and Export Options. A new Uniform electrode-selection option enables the automatic creation of balanced montages, offering consistent current intensity across all anodes and, separately, across all cathodes. Ten additional field-orientation models have also been added to provide greater flexibility in current-flow modeling. Finally, simulation results can now be exported in NIfTI format for use with common neuroimaging software, supporting further analysis, visualization, comparison, and sharing across research workflows.
