Hardware: Noraxon Ultium Motion IMU system., Sensor Placement: Sensors are placed bilaterally on the lower extremities (e.g., thighs, shanks, and pelvis) using elastic straps to minimize displacement., Software: Noraxon myoRESEARCH (MR) for continuous data acquisition, 3D avatar recreation, and automated reporting. The Exercise Protocol:. Students will record an athlete performing a standardized squat during the biomechanics lab experiment. 1. The subject performs a series of bodyweight or loaded squats., 2. The advanced, research-grade inertial measurement units capture real-time 3D rotation angles of each sensor in absolute space., 3. Data is wirelessly transmitted to the MR software, utilizing features like Intelligent Drift Stabilization to ensure long-term data accuracy without the limitations of traditional camera-based occlusion.
