Ergospect

Ergospect ergometers allow the medical practitioner to obtain information faster and with greater accuracy in order to pinpoint medical roblems such as occlusive diseases, stenotic lesions or occlusions, metabolic and uscle wasting disorders, questions related to muscle and energy metabolism and musculoskeletal system indications. The medical fields of applications are: angiography, ardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, sports medicine, vascular surgery or pharmaceutical ompatibility examinations. The available settings are suitable for all conventional R-scanners and field strength.

CARDIO STEP MODULE

Investigating the cardiovascular system during exercise

 

The Diagnostic Pedal Cardio Step has been especially designed to stress-test the heart in magnetic resonance bore and is suitable for all magnetic field strengths. Thus, it is ossible to investigate the performance and perfusion of the myocard during and after xercise via MRI or magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS).

Investigating the calf muscle during exercise

The Diagnostic Pedal “Trispect” was designed as a user-friendly device for routine clinical examinations. The approximate setup time is less than 5 minutes. The pedal platform with our unique exchange system for all muscular modules permits the test subject to be positioned comfortably and securely. The ergonomically designed pedal allows the examined leg to undergo a physiological plantar flexion.

QUADSPECT MODULE

Investigating the Quadriceps muscle during exercise

The Diagnostic Pedal “Quadspect” has been designed to stress-test the frontal femoral musculature (Musculus quadriceps) inside a MR bore. The subject is therefore placed in prone position and fixed with adjustable straps performing a knee extension against the resistance of the device. Resistance is generated by air pressure and can be controlled precisely and changed during the measurement.

ISCHIOSPECT MODULE

Investigating the hamstring muscles during exercise

The Diagnostic Pedal “Ischiospect” has been designed to stress-test the hamstring muscles inside a MR bore. The subject is therefore placed in prone position and fixed with adjustable straps performing a knee flexion against the resistance of the device.
